Watch Our Students Perform

Every programme is tailored to the student's age, goals, and personality — from joyful beginnings to professional career.

01

Piano Fundamentals & Theory Rudiments

Solid piano technique, good posture, rich and beautiful tone production, advanced skills of form analysis and musical thinking, basic principles of composition, ear-training, active listening. Sight-reading takes a special place in our curriculum — most of our students become strong sight-readers.

02

Public Performances

Stage experience is one of the most important elements of a child's music education. Each student regularly performs in class concerts, festivals and competitions. We also frequently organize additional performing opportunities.

03

RCM Exam Preparation

Over 15 years of experience with the Royal Conservatory of Music program. We excel in every aspect of RCM exam preparation: scales, sight-reading, études, repertoire, ear-training. Most students consistently score above 90 — when the Canadian average sits at 73–78.

04

Piano Ensemble Course

A dedicated ensemble class that builds listening skills, ensemble awareness, and the joy of making music together — a rare offering taught by the internationally acclaimed duo pianists.

05

Pre-College & Career Track

For students aiming at Juilliard, Manhattan School, Eastman, or other top conservatories. We know in person many leading top professors and know exactly what these schools require. Our students get in, with scholarships — regularly.

06

Masterclasses & Intensives

Targeted preparation for competitions, auditions, or examinations. Concentrated, high-impact sessions that produce measurable results in a short time. We regularly create masterclass opportunities with esteemed colleagues-artists.

In Their Own Words

What Our Families Say

"

Thank you so much for your patient guidance and dedicated teaching to Sophia. Among all the piano teachers she has ever had, you are undoubtedly the most outstanding ones. I greatly appreciate your rich musical knowledge. When explaining pieces, you always integrate stories about the composers, the historical background of the compositions, and comparisons with similar styles. This not only deepens her interests and understanding of the pieces but also encourages her to explore her own musical preferences. What touches me the most is your attentiveness and encouragement. You always inspire her in a way that's meaningful to her. In Sophia's adolescence year, you have provided her with immense understanding, patience, and support. You are not only a piano teacher but also a teacher helping her to walk through challenges with care and showing her how to find confidence and strength through music. We deeply believe that the lessons she learned from you will remain a valuable part of her life journey. Meeting you in Vancouver has been our great fortune.

We had the privilege of meeting Ilya and Daria through a piano concert that a friend invited us to, and it was immediately clear that they are true artists who genuinely care about their students as individuals. Beyond teaching piano skills, they provide a holistic music education, including lessons on music history and unlimited access to their incredible CD library. Ilya even goes the extra mile to offer thoughtful advice on our daughters' diets and daily routines to ensure they are happy and thriving as they learn. Both Ilya and Daria are strict yet incredibly patient, tailoring their approach to each of our daughters' unique personalities and needs. It's rare to find teachers who bring such dedication, artistry, and care to their work. We feel incredibly fortunate to have them as our daughters' primary piano teachers.

Both of my children started learning piano with Daria at the ages of 6 and 5, respectively. I feel that Daria's teaching can be described with a Chinese saying: "slow and steady work yields fine results." Her teaching has a long-term plan for the children, and her lessons comprehensively cover foundational skills, playing techniques, sight-reading, ear training, musicality, music theory, musical perception, and appreciation. With her, the children are growing and progressing in a steady and solid way. I also really like her teaching style — gentle yet firm. She encourages the children without compromising when facing challenges. Overall, I feel my children are very lucky to have a teacher like Daria, who has a pure love for piano and a true passion for teaching.
